I've been experiencing a puzzling issue with my ROG Hyperion GR701 case. As you may know, the case has a total of 8 RGB zones: 3 at the bottom, 3 at the top, 1 logo on top, and the inside section of the case. My issue concerns the 3 RGB lights at the top. I’ve tried to illustrate the problem in the attached image, but essentially, 2 of the 3 top RGB lights freeze. When I first power on the PC, the RGB lights work fine, but shortly after, 2 of them get stuck on whatever color they were displaying at that moment.
I’ve tried switching control settings, toggling between motherboard and software control, but nothing changes.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far to troubleshoot:
- Reinstalled Windows.
- Checked and re-seated all the cables.
- Enabled Disabled RGB via Bios
- Reinstalled Armoury Crate countless times.
- Rescanned many times
My motherboard is a ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI II. None of these attempts have worked. Do you have any suggestions for resolving this issue?
