WARNING: POTATO PICTURES.

I have most of the parts with me already, they're lying in an (expensive) scrapheap in the corner of my room:

Let's get unboxing! Here's some fans:

I'll be getting 12 more Cougar Red LEDs to complement the build, haven't done a flashy LED build in a long time 😉

Another 980, makes two 🙂

The case box:

Open up the case box:

Truly a man's jigsaw puzzle:

Thanks to Mrfocals for shipping this over to me from the Gold Coast, came a bit dirty so I put it in the jacuzzi and gave it a big spraydown and soak and dried it overnight, now it's just a tad dusty from the Sydney air

Some cables (I don't have enough, need to order more) :

Potato quality photo of my storage drive. My boot drive will be an M.2 Kingston Predator 480GB SSD, but I have yet to buy it. Can't let that PCI-E bandwidth go to waste!

The mobo. I won't be using the front panel, waste of a feature 😞

Assembling the case (without instructions, RIP)

It was actually surprisingly easy, I spent more time figuring out which screws to use instead of figuring out where each part went. Took around 30 minutes, not bad...

DONE!

Gotta have some stickers on the case:

Some more glory shots of the complete case:

The doors to the case are surprisingly handy, I love the design of the case overall. Modular, sturdy and big. Really happy with it!

It's pretty empty at the moment, but only for a limited time...

The bottom compartment has already been filled up:

So has the motherboard tray:

TBC, gotta go somewhere...

and so the other day, aquacomputer **** arrived 😄

i love the german watercooling stuff, it's just top notch and beyond words.

Got my CPU block, 2 GPU blocks, another aqualis res and an aquaero...time to block!

Gonna teach these newborns how to swim. The one on the left hasn't even had its stickers peeled off yet.

Dual GPU block goodness.

What's in this package?

A Kryos!

Very shiny...

I wore gloves this time so I wouldn't get fingerprints or oil marks on the blocks...you should see the state of the blocks on mono. :upset: I guess there's just no lazy way out...

Gonna have to reseat the block though, it's not in the correct position!

Time to block the cards!

All done, for now 🙂

The blocks came with some rather lacking backplates for even heat transfer apparently, but they still look decent on the cards so I can't complain

Would you like some RAM with that, sir?

The Aquaero in action (forgot to buy faceplate) :

Got the fan and USB cables all ready:

Now to do some test fitting to see the amount of room I have left to work with...It's a big case but you'll be surprised at the cutoffs between the stuff inside...there's like 1.5cm between the 480 at the front and the Aquaero, and 5mm cutoff between the front rad and the bottom 560...And I haven't even tested the top 480 yet. It's definitely gonna be a squeeze :Paranoid:

Note: I am not using these fans.

Plenty of space for dual reservoirs next to the mobo tray!

As I'm typing this, I've come to the realisation that I should have done the entire front panel first before assembling the case so I could actually put everything in...gonna have to strip the case bare and reassemble it FML :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn:

The back is coming along neatly, I love it when there's no rainbow wires running across places, the back is no exception

And this will be the last photo in a lengthy update... 😉 Stay tuned!

Haven't got the fittings nor the Cougar fans so I'm gonna have to order them this week.

Now for the real question: Anyone in Sydney have a 1/2" copper pipe bender before I get the salt and do it myself? Dad wouldn't let me buy a $40 tool from bunnings :upset:

Got any tips, comments, hate? Vent below!

Thanks for staying [DEL]faithful[/DEL] patient, hope to update this again soon 😛

Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and New Years, one of my resolutions was to get this build completed by February so I had to get off my fat ass and actually make some progress.

Here's half a decent excuse - I spent Christmas aboard this:

Got some nice pictures but an even nicer triple toned tan on my right arm :upset:

My three favourite people on board the boat :D:thumbup:

Thanks Carnival Spirit, though New Caledonia wasn't as good as I hoped...moving on...

Somewhere in September I purchased some custom cables from Germany. They arrived and I can't describe the quality of the cables. They're ****ing mint :thumbup::thumbup:

****ed up the order, ended up with this "thing"

Did some cabling around, pretty satisfied with the cable management thus far:

Got this nifty thing as well, it'll come in handy for some of my fans:

A quick look at the bottom of the case:

The GPU cables:

The Aquaero with the fan cable extenders:

Top rad mounted. I had to mount them with the fans towards the back of the rad because I didn't have screws that were long enough :'( time to fix!

I also got two more pumps and pimped them out Bitspower style.

I hate sleeving :o:thumbdn: Hopefully this is the last time I do this.

The finished product:

Pump squadron assemble! :D:thumbup:

Got another two nifty toys:

Probably not the smartest $99 I've spent, but **** it it looks sexy :leet:

Got this thing too

Final picture from this update is from my desk, nothing related to Titan, but I got a second Swift 😄

There is such a thing as a cheap "spring" pipe bending tool. I've used one lots for home plumbing. Makes quite a nice bend, not as good as an expensive pipe bender but not bad.

Basically you insert the spring and bend over your knee.

P.S. Copper pies will tarnish pretty quick by the way, they won't stay that colour.

a good tip, connect each rad ( fans ) to one channel on the controller, you have enny termal sensors taking the temp of the water?
a good example would be a inline temp ( male to female ) witch would just be an extender ( can be fitted on a rad in or out port ) to meshure the temp of the water it self in the loop.
here is an example -> http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13163/ex-tub-891/Phobya_G14_Inline_Temp_Sensor_Coupler_-_2-Pin_711...
i did use one of theese in my loop + i had a temp sensor integrated int he pump it self too.

Looking good, awesome big case with plenty of room for sure.

Note: Once you have your copper pipe bent and formed just right, you can polish it up and then give it a coat of good quality car wax or spray it with clear coat paint to keep the shiny look a long time.

In his spec he said "nickel plated copper". I missed that myself.

From what I understand, you can even nickel plate yourself.

OP... how are you going to nickel plate? Will a company be doing this or yourself?
