Ok so i got some new white sleeving from a company named Sleeva.se
i don't know if they ship internationally. I do know they ship all over Sweden anyway..

So here is what i ordered

Shrinktube Small White

Shrinktube Small*White

Shrinktube SATA White

Sleeve SATA*White

Sleeve Small*White

Cable-tie Brackets (10-pack)

Lamptron Modding Tool Kit

Some tools that will be used for sleeving

A heat-gun is a must if you've got white shrinktubes. Because they will get abit darkened if using a lighter.
Black shrinktubes don't matter though

Lock ring pincer (inverted) to open up the shrink tubes abit.
This was really useful

Starting off with re-sleeving a 24pin Bitfenix Extender.*

I did put an extra smaller shrinktube under the sleeving in each end for my white shrinktube to attach better onto the cord.

This is some really high-quality sleeve, can't see through it at all..

Finally finished with the extender.
Took me a few hours to be honest 😛

This sleeve is abit thicker than the black stock sleeving on the extender so it'll look like this in the ends.
I don't care though

Sleeving is now complete, here is some results

Graphics card 2x 8pin connections

24pin mounted

8pin mobo

So i decided to make a new PSU cover out of regular 3mm acrylic sheet (because any coloured one is impossible to get your hands on in sweden)
*
Ofcourse i started with measuring the dimensions of it inside the case, Length, Height and Depth
Didn't take any pics of that though
*
*
Here im cutting the pieces for the cover
*

*
*
Ended up with these, hopefully they'll fit now.
*

*
*
*
Had to remove the stock HDD cage though, because it was too high for my cover. Ill just use the dremel to cut it down abit. But thats a project for later.
*
Here is me drilling out the poprivets for the HDD cage. You'll also see my nice socks here
*

*
*
This is just a temporary solution to hold the PSU cover up and giving it some support.
I just bend a PCI cover top the same height as the PSU and used a pop rivet to hold it in place
*

*
*
So i found some 90 degrees set square's at work that is usually used to glue photo frames.
I think it'll work perfect for this.
*
*

*
So the paint has been drying for 2 days. Not because it needed to but i didnt have the time countinue with the work.
Now its as solid as a rock 🙂
*
Preparing the acrylic for paint.
Using paper tape on all the edges to avoid getting any paint on there.
*

*
*
Fully taped
*
*

*
*
Ready for paint!
Lets do some magic
*

*
After painting with my regular High Glossy White (oil based) paint it will look like this.
two layers of paint is enough, if the acrylic has been cleaned up before painting.
*
Here are the old & the new PSU cover
*

*
*

So i got the idea of trying out some engraving.
Since i had some extra acrylic laying around i thought i'd give it a shot.
Don't blame me lol because i've never done anything like this before.

Decided to put it here after i was done, now drilled some holes to be able to pop it there after i engraved the piece.

These are the tools i used. A rotary tool, some Diamond Grinding things, a decal & acrylic.

EDIT - *i found a flash light was also very useful for this

Getting the logo in place

Lets get started!

So much fun!!

Still going!

Result after 30min's of work

Results enlightened, if you look this close youll see 2 obvious mistakes. But this picture is very well zoomed. You wont see it if u look through the side panel of the case.
Atleast not me 🙂

End result, NO FLASH

END RESULT WITH FLASH*

END RESULT WITH FLASH & SIDEPANEL

Will be doing some more small works on this, then im off to start with my Phantom 820 project wich will also be posted here on this forum.

Look around for Jompenleet!

Hope you liked it
