Over the course of the last month or so, I've completely rebuilt my Asus-powered system. I didn't change any of the key guts (motherboard, CPU, GPUs, et al). Rather everything else around it, including the desk, case, audio, etc.

By the time TITAN X PASCAL was out ASUS RAMPAGE V EDITION 10 was launched. So was that ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME from your previous build. If not what the reason to choose ASUS RAMPAGE V EXTREME over EDITION 10

Fair questions. The motherboard is one I've had for some time, even prior to the Titans. I haven't upgraded it for some time. The Edition 10 wasn't even on the drawing board for Asus at that time.
