My Rig

Just thought I would post pics of my Rig. I ran my own IT company in South Africa . Water cooling gear here is very expensive . We get nailed on shipping and import duties. Our Rand is that the strongest currency arround so we dont really see many monster builds from here.

Seems to be big difference in 1155 and 2011 flow plates.

Those are flow plates from the new EK Supremacy block.

ah, i do have that block installed, but has not cared about the plates..

done..

swapped the plate..

almost 1c better temp.. with the performance plate (idle) 1,4v.. 4725mhz. (Speedstep)

solid...Steady 26 now, it was a 27-28 before..

Conclusuion..

Swapping between the 2 plates, make 1c, better at idle... Load i dont know, should be a greater difference, say 2-3c..only guessing..
But..

Now to the fun part..

The temp do not fluctuate at all, the other plate was very pending temps.....Now.. very solid temps, no pending.. . That i like a lot...

The temp has not moved at all ,over 20 min... 26..

Opened photoshop, got up to 30c..

closed ps, and it jump back to solid 26...

And it seem to like being at 26c...

so..

this is solid 2c better idle temp, than a modified H100..

Just added 2 Cosair 128GB Pro in raid 0 . Nice..Intel raid controller is the bomb.
My new Ek block and Rasa Pump/Res combo are on there way..

Ok , now I am really cheesed off. Installed my new Ek Supremacy Nickel Plexi block and my trmps are just as **** , if not worse. My pc is running stock now and its idling at 46. Its winter here aswell so its cold . Could I be apllying too much thermal paste? I try use the pea methode but I could be doing it wrong. Any advice.

What pump are you using? Are you sure that you have good flow?
Have you cleaned the contact surfaces (CPU and waterblock) before mounting?

I don't think it should have so big impact, but what is the direction of the airflow on that top rad? The fans are pushing or sucking the air through?

You have other issues...

i am still at 25/26c. 1.4v. 20% fan speed.

are you checking the temp in probe ?

Are the waterflow ok..

Is the radiator ok..

if so, and those temps.. i dont know mate.. sorry

you havent bought the rad from a dope smuggler? ;o)
