so heres my modest build i finished about a month ago
i know its not a modders dream but for a guy on a budget it will have to last me for a couple years
i know the wiring is not quite there yet but i didnt have a long enough extra 8pin from psu for now
also waiting to order my 2nd gpu to finalize all wiring
spec's
core i7-3820 lga 2011
rampage 4 extreme
16gb g-skill 2133 mhz ram
evga gtx570 2.5gb edition (will be sli within a few weeks)
psu-aerocool 1020 watt
asus vw246 24"lcd (will be doing 3-26" in 2 months for surround gaming)
i have 4-1tb wd blacks also a 2tb wd green
2 -500gb raptor's primary /installed soft gaming hd
optical -lg bdrw with m-disc support

The most important thing is that it performs to your expectations. Recently someone made an uninformed and backhanded comment about my rig and initially I was a bit pissed but I realized I built it for me, not him, and it performs great so I have nothing to justify.

Dual psu for what?! Even with a second GTX 570, 1020W should be enough. Behind the psu on the picture is a cover plate though... - at least, that's what I think. Am I right, Jackcrow999? Can not remember right now, but I did see some cases with that kind of cover plate - to cover the mess produced by cables from non-modular power supplies.

What case is this anyway?
