I'm going to be doing something similar on my new build.
I have a few different parts though.
I couldn't afford the 17 6700K, so I got a 15 6600K
I went with a closed loop cooler for now. Arctic Liquid Freezer 240
I'll probably upgrade that to a EKWB Predator 240 in push/pull down the road.
Case: NZXT Phantom 820 w/NZXT's HUE Lighting built in
In October I'm going to change my fans to red led based ones. Probably NZXT Red LED 200mm 2 and Bitfenix Spectre Pro 140mm Red LED 4
In August I'm getting a Sapphire Nitro RX 480 8GB video card
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 I have 2 kits giving me 32GBs
PSU: EVGA SUPERNova 1000
M.2 Drive: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB (os & programs)
SSD 2: Intel 480GB (older & slower- probably gonn get a newer Samsung 850 Pro or 950 ro 500-512GB to replace it) - Basically for games that won't fit on M.2 ssd.
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3.0TB (Personal Data)
Optical Drives: LITEOn DVD-RW & LITEOn Blu-Ray Burner
I have everything except the video card, upgraded fans and upgraded sssd's listed.
Now I'm awaiting Newegg to ship my RMA'd Asus Maximus VIII Hero motherboard back to me.
That will probably happen Monday or Tuesday, as it's been through the approval process @ Newegg.
The first board the PCIe x16 1 & 2 slots fell off the board on lifting it out of box.
