My first liquid cooling setup (XSPC + HAF X)

So my XSPC Rasa 750 RX360 kit arrived today in the mail and I immediately set about getting it installed. I took my time and tried to be as meticulous as possible so I ended up taking around 10 hours to get everything done (including multiple breaks and eating dinner). It was pretty straight forward and was not too difficult to install. The only real issue I had dealt with the left-most 120mm fan installed on the rad..it pushes up slightly against both the 8-pin and 4-pin 12v cpu power sockets but they are both still fully seated so it should not cause any problems. Now it's time for some pics.

How the insides looked before I tore it all apart.

Everything stripped out of the HAF X

Old Hyper 212 Evo taken off and all old AC5 removed and ready for the new xspc rasa block.

Mobo installed back into case with the new cpu block installed. I tried to use the stock AM3 back plate and the black bolts but the bolts were not the right size for the back plate so used the silver bolts instead.

360mm radiator plus 3 Cooler Master 120mm Sickle flow red led fans installed. It may be a bit hard to see but the fan on the left completely covers both the 8-pin and 4-pin cpu power sockets. The fan did clear the NB heatsink with no issues though.

Reservoir/Pump being installed. I removed the SATA dock and the reservoir slid in nicely and was secured with the provided screws.

Got the tubing installed. In keeping with the ROG color scheme I used PrimoChill PrimoFlex Pro tubing in UV Red. It was easy to cut and install. Since this is a basic loop I went Resorvoir-->Radiator-->Cpu Block-->Resorvoir.

Finally, installed my XFX HD 6970 and the VGA cooling duct and did some last minute cable management. Not too shabby if I say so myself.

Loving the ROG colors!

Well, there you have it. My first impression of this kit is very good so far. I leak tested it for about an hour and not a single drop leaked out. I did end up using about 1.5 bottles of PrimoChill Ice so luckily I bought two with the kit when I ordered it. I will wait a week or so before I do any stress testing to compare my new temps to what I had when I was using the Hyper 212 Evo. This should give the Artic Silver 5 time to get some heat cycles in to get a good measurement of my new temps. Hopefully with this kit I will be able to over clock my 1100T to 4.3Ghz or maybe a bit higher. Thanks for viewing and tell me what you think!

Very nice, I'm hoping to get the same sort of temps when I finally get the mounting kit for my WC setup 🙂

beautiful, very nice, now i know i can fit a 3x120mm rad in there.

Its fiddly, but the 932 is built for it 🙂

Yup, it definitely fits using a 360mm radiator and HAF-X. I will try to maybe get a few more pics of the radiator with all 6 120mm fans installed in the next few days.
