Maximus IX won't first time boot

Hi
I Have just assembled a Maximus IX with i7 processor, 16GB 3000MHz Vengence DDR4, Corsair H115i Pro water cooler.
The system will not go into first time POST.
When power is turned on the effect/mood lighting works, BIOS 1 light comes on along with the internal "START" button light and "RESET" button light.
Pressing the front case start, the internal start, internal and external reset, BIOS switch, Memory OK, SAFE BOOT and RETRY buttons have no effect.
I have also tried enabling LN2 jumper mode with no effect.
I have also tried removing individualr RAM modules and double checked the CPU installation.
I have also double checked all power connectors.
I am not using an M.2 SSD and have not therefore installed the adaptor board into the DIMM.2 slot.
I am lost for ideas and hope it is not a faulty mother board or CPU.
Any help would obviously be greatly apreciated.

So no post, not even into BIOS?

First try clear CMOS and if still nothing....

Remove from case and try it on the box. Could be a short in the case. Also try a known good PSU.

Mabey a stupid solution but i have read it so many times. But did you check your stand offs? Are they all present? It might be a stupid thing to ask but you never know.

I have the same issue with new build ROG Maximus XI Extreme 😕 I took battery out / clear CMOS , checked all connections, Tried bios update with USB it sits at AC code when it boots up no error beeps no nothing m/b lights up but nothing ever on my screen for bios. We removed video card tried on board video , tried 4 different screens , made sure L2 is enabled. Tried 2 different video cards , Checked all seta cables swapped them out no joy, reseat ram removed ram left one stick in A2 slot no joy. And cant even get into bios with onboard video. Beautiful build thinking at this point its a bad MB maybe. Full specs below. Any ideas and if I forgot to list other things we tried sorry my brain is freaking out at this point.
