yip that is the single biggest and most noticeable upgrade anyone can do. Very nice and clean build mate.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Hm... that case has a lot of room above the mobo... - could be good for WC'ing... 🙂

Nice build!

I did think about water cooling but water and electricity don't go together!
Maybe i'll give it a go in the future, my cpu is @ 4ghz and 27c idle and hits about 40c max on seti@home 100% cpu.
Thanx for the messages

I agree with you! The point is to not mix them... If you have no leaks in your loop, than it's good to go...

Out of my 30 years i never once even though about doing water cooling, but in December last year i did it and it was an easy process. Just don't have your motherboard plugged in via power and you'll be set. Graphics card can go in last (if you're just doing cpu) and if you do have a leak it won't matter if it hits anything, just leave it for a few days to dry out completely and you'll be right.

Check out my build thread, First build for WC wasn't that great, but the second one looks great!

*i still need up upload pictures of it completed*

This. And to clarify, the simplest way to do a leak test is to jump the PSU with nothing but the pump plugged in. Some people put a few paper towels in the system for leak testing so if there is a leak it hits the towel before the electronics.

If you secure everything and test carefully there is minimal risk. Once it's up & running it should remain leak free.

I bought the same Motherboard for a new build. I really like it because it is loaded with sensors everywhere so you know exactly where the heat is and direct your airflow to suit. I also bought a Sabertooth 990FX without R2 and it is phenomenal as well. I found overclocking with it easier than my RIVE board. I am just waiting for the Sabertooth X79 R2 to come out and I will get one of those as well. I bought an Enermax Fulmo GT case and I love it. It has so much room in it and is very well built. I can fit a huge 3 fan push pull water cooling unit in it and still fit an EEB or HPTX motherboard which makes an ATX-E look small. EEB and HPTX boards support 2 CPU's on the board and have 12 Ram slots. The case price was really good as well and it comes with 4 USB3 front ports and an extra adapter to add 2 more in a 5 1/4" bay. It also has a hotswap port on the top. There are so many little extras with this case I don't think I will ever buy a different one again. All the other full tower cases are 6" shorter than this one. It runs in the same price range as the quality full tower cases.
