How to attach a seperate section

Hi guys,
I was researching many different custom water loop designs, from external to internal. After thinking things through i am thinking of adding a base section to my case. I am curious how it could be done easily like with hinges or maybe thumbscrew brackets. My case is more of an air case but i like the 90 degree rotation but for what i am doing i need more rad space.

curious about suggestions on attaching something like this, what to put over the seams so it looks pro. or maybe just use black duck tape? For maintance issues it would be nice if it could still be taken apart.

Well after searching high and low, I actually went to artist forums and the ones that sculpture human heads were like all in agreement, Balsa Foam is the best material, easy to form and hard as wood when painted. The seams will look fantastic i think once formed to the bottom of the case and top of the pedestal. Maybe paint it the same color as the gray strips to get like a 2 tone effect.
