My first liquid cooling/modding project.

RAD 2 | EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (240)
RES | EK-D5 X-RES 140 CSQ - Acetal
Pump | Aqua-Computer D5 pump with USB- and Aquabus interface
Fans | 7x Corsair SP120 PWM Quiet Edition 120mm

Plan:

  • Apply liquid cooling on all parts.
  • Delid and lap CPU.
  • Sleeve and manage all cables.
  • Cleanup the case with acryl, without modding the case it self.
  • Apply 'stealthmod' on the controller (and maybe a optical drive.
  • LED's to light up the case a bit.

very nice build i really like it ,, can i ask what material you are using to cover the cpu and the psu

De panels are made of MDF, but these will be replaced with 5mm acryl.

....verry nice, mobo looks phantastic... only cpu block is a lot how you say... too shinny to the rest of the blocks, but it can come verry nice in contrast to the other blocks... but there we see in the finish,... an other question i have now is why you wanna replace the mdf panes with acrilic... ? are there not so good for painting or why you wanna do this? *acrilic is not so easy to use like it looks... but when you can bend it (having the rigth tools), its verry nice stuff, but it will be tricky to make the same panels in acrylic... ive only made straigth panels without a crinkle in there, i think to the start of your project that you extra taking mdf because its good to build and paint.. 😕
