Front Panel ARGB Issue with ASUS ROG Hyperion Case – Seeking Solutions

Hi everyone,

I bought the ASUS ROG Hyperion case back in April and noticed something odd when unboxing. It came with two "FOR HUB" cables but didn’t include a "FOR MB" cable. I didn’t pay much attention to it at the time and went ahead with the build.

Everything was working perfectly for the first five months. But now, six months in, the front panel ARGB has started acting weird. The lighting randomly flashes, freezes, and sometimes goes completely out of sync. It’s super frustrating because it was running fine before.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Would love to hear if anyone has ideas or solutions—really don’t want to start pulling everything apart unless I absolutely have to!

yes , i got same problem - upper rgb panel freezes ...

Hey, I'm having same exact issue had the case over a year now, then all of a sudden past 2 months or so the top front RGB flickers or de-syncs , I've tried a few things and I'm coming to the conclusion that armory crate has done something somehow.

When I uninstalled armory crate and rebooted the RGB was working as normal on the front without flickering as soon as I reinstalled armory crate and to be honest, the flickering and freezing was even worse than before I uninstalled in the first place.

I do not think this is an isolated issue. Would be helpful if someone from ROG could investigate.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I've got some new problems popping up now, my Z790 Dark Hero motherboard has started to have the same rgb issues as the case.
