I am currently in the process of redoing my systems cooling. I went from a DeepCool ls720 AIO to a EKWB soft tube custom loop with direct die cooling. I have almost everything done but am waiting for one more part. I wanted to post my progress because delidding was not as scary as I imagined.
i have a lian li 011 dynamic Evo case with a 13900k and a 4090 both in the loop. I will be using a 58 mm 360 rad on bottom and top of case. The bottom is setup as a push pull with noctua industrial pans doing the pushing. On the side I am mounting the ekwb FLT 240 D5 flat res/ pump combo. It all fits very tight but it does fit. The only thing I’m worried about is airflow because there is maybe a half inch between fans and bottom of gpu as you can see in photos below. I set it up to test fitting. We will see what happens.
Here is my 4090 guts
Here is gpu with getting new thermal padding
here is it with the waterblock from ekwb whom btw have solid products and very good customer service
here is my cpu delidded and then the next pic the glue all cleaned up. Still waiting on the conductonaut with my cpu block to finish cleaning the die.
it wasn’t too bad. The delidding was easy. I followed ekwb instructions to a t on their video. Cleaning the glue took a lot of time and patience. I used goo gone to soften it up and use the tool they gave me to scrape it. Be careful around those smds.
i will update once the build is complete with finished products. It is a slow process but I am very excited about this build. It seems one of a kind. At least to me.

Nice work.
If the bottom rad is push-pull you might find the hot air being pulled through the rad into the case will be harder to dissipate with the GPU block this close, but it won't be a huge issue. It may put the GPU temps up a couple of degrees along with the loop temperature. Ideally, you'd want a bit more space. Here's mine in the 011D with push-pull configuration

Nice that looks awesome! Ya I’m not sure what to do as a solution to this. Maybe I’ll leave the side glass panel off. I just wanted the thickest rads I could get. Is that the o11 dynamic xl?

I don't think you'd need to worry too much, just that it may impede temps by a small margin. You could remove the bottom rad fans post-build completion and see how much different it makes.
Yes, that's the XL.

Ya that xl is like 2 inches taller that would make a huge difference. I was thinking about just talking the bottom fans off anyway and doing it because of the space. I wasn’t sure what would be a better trade off. Having push pull with less space or just having the pull setup with more space. Only way to find out is to test it I guess.

i dont know why this quality sucks but i did it. my temps dropped tremendously. I am getting 6.1 ghz maxing out at 79 degrees Celsius on benchmark. gpu is overclocked and not getting over 48 degrees Celsius. This is exactly what I wanted I am very happy and proud. Both radiators intake and the other 3 exhaust.
