You got me wondering just how nice I can make a case out of wood(I cheat, I've got a laser cutter and full woodshop, and can get access to a shopbot CNC thing). I've also got some black veneer left over from another project...
The only problem is all my good plywood thicker than a 1/4" is spoken for. I also have no idea how to do steam bending yet. I'll probably settle for something simple so I can get it done before I'm snowed out of the shop.

To my experience with the proper tools you can do whatever you want with wood.I always loved it as a material and i couldn't find any info on wooden pc Cases so i decited to go for it 🙂 As it turns out i could have donne a better job but i am not the best woodworker around so i am pleased with it as a first timer 😄

You did very well with what you had. Your ingenuity is actually quite impressive. Most people would just give up and not think of a way to fashion a case for themselves.

If you are going to put several different cases together, you can always take them apart and sand and primer and paint (or powder coat; or go cheaper by getting spray paint that has primer in it) the pieces you use and they will all look like they are from the same manufactured case.
