Completed my build!

Specs:
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Chassis
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @ 4.9GHz
CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i RGB Pro XT
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8gb)@ 3600MHz
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT SE Sapphire NITRO+ 16GB
Storage: SSD 480GB Kingston + 2TB 7,200 RPM HDD + 240GB Kingston SSD
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT, 80 Plus Gold 1000W
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

The building of it wasnt a smooth ride. First I got a bad motherboard and accidentally voided the warranty in a way that is too embarrassing to tell, then I found out my PSU was also bad and EVGA replaced it for me, then the first NVMe i bought bricked the damn computer not allowing anything to be installed, so I installed on my normal SSD i have and when I removed the NVMe it erased all my HDD's & SSD's making me reinstall the OS all over. Then I found out the 2015 untouched clean ISO fresh install of windows 10 hates all my specs because the 2015 clean OEM install doesnt support anything so i had to play russian roulette with the update assistant manager which bypasses years of updating and doing it all at once hoping a BSOD didn't happen again. When it finally got through I have no issues now.

That is the one thing i will warn peeps about, make sure you have an ISO with preinstalled updates from 2018 onward. After the update assistant managed to make it passed 71% without bluescreening it started detecting the motherboard features.

However, thanks to my NVMe being a butt-hole to me, I dropped the thermal cover (the thing with the dark hero logo) and the thermal padding got all gunked up, is there a replacement to buy or thermal padding to buy to replace it? I plan on using an NVMe soon.

You can get it from any online store, just make sure it got right thickness.

Thanks to being overly generous with thermal paste... somehow... magically.... it got in the cpu socket when I was cleaning off the motherboard to send in...

I plan to assemble the computer myself and let me tell you that I have been thinking about it for a long time. I am thinking about waiting for the price to drop. And I have questions for you, is it worth saving on a graphics card or processor?

I wanted to get a 6900XT Graphics card (i still plan on it now that the price has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY on it) but iI decided to cut back on the cost of graphics to get a truly beautiful CPU. In my opinion: the Processor (and motherboard) is what makes or breaks a build, so if you are having a tough time deciding what you want to spend less on, spend less on graphics card. Because of my decision going with the mother and processor I did, I will no longer need to worry about upgrading the core of my system for a long time now. My i7 4790K lasted me 8 years of gaming because I chose a great processor that would not throttle graphics cards I upgraded too. You can always replace a graphics card if you need more meat, but you can't just as easily replace a CPU without going through the hassle of motherboards (if you are intel) or if it will utilize everything your CPU can offer (Such as AMD). All that being said is why I put the most money in Motherboard and Processor before I continue anything with my build and go from there.

It really depends on where do you live. I'd just google "thermal pad" and all stores around shows up.
