[Build Log] River of Strix (Custom Tower)

Greetings,

I am working on a custom tower design around the Strix Owl style, calling it the River of Strix. Here are some concept sketches from SketchUp.




It is 12" wide by 22" tall. It's not small, as I always wanted a case which was a little more than full tower.

As design continues and builds starts, I'll add details here.

The color scheme for Strix has changed recently, but that design still looks cool. Just wondering what you intend to do with 3 optical drives.

I am aware. The new color scheme is not to my likeing I really liked the owl version. As for the drives, that's placeholder for a fan controller, multi media holder, and one blueray.

One addition which I'm planning is including is an additional core for number crunching. Which I would like guideance on. If the cpu only job will be to do math (not Bitcoin or crypto currency) what could/board would be best? Won't be using multilpe cores either. Math isn't complicated mostly random noise generation. I was thinking of using an outdated at or a raspberry pie - or more.
