[Build Log] Audi RS4 Inspired Parvum

abirli
Level 7

Hello and welcome back to another one of my build logs! After months of planning and gathering ideas, I reached out to Parvum Systems and brought them an idea of a customized Audi themed case.

Big Thanks to G.Skill, Rocket Science, V1 Tech,UPC and EKWB for taking a chance and sponsoring me! With out them this build would not be as awesome as it is going to be!

When i think Audi i instantly think LED head lights and Big Grills, so i knew i wanted to incorporate those into the case. With some hand sketches i asked Parvum to take the lead and what they ultimately came up with is nothing short than amazing! :thumb:

Although some parts might not seem as high end as they should for a build like this, the client doesn't game, doesn't render or anything computer extensive. The Client does own a Audi/ Volkswagen service shop and wanted a promotional piece to display. Plus i got a lot of them for a sweet deal! 🙂

Update #6 : Pipe Bender and Some Goodies!

For the actual bending of the pipe i went with the Ridgid 408 1/2" bender

the bender is pretty large so theres some good leverage and the quality feels really nice. very solid

oooh artsy

being that this build is inspired by Audi, I wanted to bring that sense of luxury to some accents in the build. To do this i'm going to leather VINYL wrap some bits and pieces.

the texture and apparent grain on this vinyl is really cool

i couldnt wait and decided to wrap the LED power block

grain stays even with the stretch

I think i've got everything other than the Ram now, that should be arriving later today! once its here i've got to shoot everything and then build! stay tuned :thumb:

Update # 7 : EKWB !!

46439

This post is dedicated to one of my sponsors, EKWB ! For those of you that don't know, EKWB makes some of the highest quality and best performing water blocks and components in the industry! I've been using EK since i first started down the h2o path with my 8800 GTX (remember these beasts?) Ever since then i've used their products almost exclusively!

For this build i will be using their Supremacy Cpu block, the 140 tube res/ddc combo, 240mm xt radiator, and 3 of their new Vardar Series fans, specifically the F3's

On to the Photos!

240 rad. i picked up locally

Now EK's Generous sponsoring

3x Vardar F3's

These fans are very nice! i like the minimalistic look and two tone color on these

Next up is the 140ml Res and DDC Pump

Followed by the Supremacy EVO!

hiding in the dark

Again Thank You EKWB for supporting me and taking this build to a new level! :thumb:

for this build i was fortunate enough to have G.Skill help me with the RAM! They sent me 8gb of their Sniper series, and man are these dimms pretty cool! the all black PCB wit sniper rifle heatsinks are really unique.

On to the photos!

Update #9 : The VI Gene and installation, Sleeve options, and a sneak peak!

For this build i'm going with the Asus Rog Maximus VI Gene!

contents

low lite shots are my fav

ok lights back on

the start button comes in such handy when not installed in a case

lets install this guy shall we

I'll be using UPC Aegis Sleeve for this build. i know for a fact ill be using black, with maybe a few lines of red here and there, but i also have dark grey and silver to use aswell... i think i may just stick with the dark grey, because the silver may be too much, im not sure.. what do you think?

hah this is fun

Sneak Peaks!

Update #10: Nannobits, HDD, SDD, Moar Fittings, and drive installation

Nannobits is a friend of mine on instagram based out of Ohio! He runs his own custom pc shop and was able to sponsor me with a 1tb hdd. I also got the motherboard, and ssd from them with a friend discount 😄 if you're in the ohio area and are looking for a custom pc, do check them out!

once again, gotta love stickers!

here is the sponsored hdd, seagate 1tb

next up the kingston 120gb ssd

it has a nice metal casing on it, real clean!

now yesterday you already saw a sneak peak at the HDD! So what i did was remove the stickers, and apply the leather vinyl to the raised portion of the hdd. heat it up top get it to conform to the edges and cut away! slap a snazzy RS4 emblem on there and call it a day!

the ssd got the same treatment, but only leather, no rs4 badge on it.

then install it!

back side is looking fresh!

cant have enough fittings

Bitspower 45s and 90s

drain valve

and q fitting

i can finally start building now!

so first up i installed the RAM, CPU and CPU Block

the EK EVO is soo nice, and the precise mounting hardware makes installation easy and worry free

love this shot

now i installed the rear pieces of the Parvum

here you can see the painted gpu brackets. Flat black to match the case

rear shot of everything

Update # 12 : MEGA UPDATE , V1TECH, Sleeving Done, Tubing Done, hiccups and more!

ok everyone! i finally have time to update this build, and what an update it is!

first lets start with my sponsor V1TECH!

47195for those of you who dont know they make some pretty sweet back plates and can customize then to your needs! they also can do a lot of custom acrylic work. They also have a vinyl plotter that can cut you what every stickers you need..

on to the photos!

the vinyl stickers came in a sweet envelope!

going the extra mile here, thanks guys :thumb:

contents

the upper right sticker was designed to fit in the psu channel. so i cut some leather vinyl and installed

apply sticker!!

install psu

I also tasked them to see what we can do about the pny not so theme fitting blue pcb. what they made me was a master piece!

look for your self

leather vinyl makes a come back and imo makes the back plate! it looks so clean!

Thanks V1Tech for supplying some beautiful pieces!

ok next up are the cables! like almost all of my builds i like discarding the OEM cables and just custom making them for that tailored fit! theres just enough slack to easily install but not so much so that it bunches up. I used UPC supplies and their AEGIS sleeve

24p

8p cpu

gpus

sata

rear view

hdds

front view

i also bent the tubing...shinyyyyy

next i mounted the radiator

ekwb ❤️

sleeved fans

install 1

install 2

glamor

mount the rad panel

install pump and tubing!

during the final installation i noticed one of the headlight leds were burnt out =( i ordered one and it was supposed to be here today, but the mail never came (10" of snow today). grrr so once that comes ins. i have to sleeve it, install then i can can shoot the final outter shots!

tomorrow though i will post part 1 of the inner final photos!

Update # 13: Final Interior shots!

wow! the day has finally come... and none to soon at that! the build is actually due today and will be on display at the FITES 250 man lan event this weekend. a few times since i've been building have i sat back and thought, wow.. i cant believe it turned out this well :p. from an idea to design to building i knew it was going to turn out sweet but never this polished, never this clean.

I want to thank all of my sponsors for supporting me on this build, with out them this build wouldnt have been feasible. I also want to thank all of you for stopping in, asking questions, giving constructive criticism and all of you're kind words through out this build. it's very humbling that you all like the work i do :thumb:

The following shots are mainly focusing on the interior chambers, as soon as the led arrives i will take the exterior photos.

please enjoy
