Hello to all

let my first say that this forum it's excellent.
this this my 1 st build and everything went fine with no problems.

so this is my parts list:

case- Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Case
mobo- Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
psu- Corsair AX 760w 80 plus platinum
cpu- AMD FX8350 Black Edition
cooling- Corsair Hydro Series H100i
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
ram- G skill Trident 2x 8gb 2400mhz
gpu- Asus GTX 770 Nvidia GeForce
2x 1 TB toshiba dt01aca100 hdd's
samsung DVD-RW Drive

I have replaced the stock h100i fans for the noctuas NF-F12, and that was a bad move as they did perform worse and temps went up.
so i ended up buying 2 more noctuas fans but the bigger ones NF-A14, and temps went back to what they used to be (no improvements in performance) but it's so much quiet.

at the moment I'm running 4.6 ghz and limited by temps as i have lapped my 8350 and only finished with 1200 grit sandpaper.
just waiting for some more sandpaper to finish it at 3000 grit and see if can lower the temps from 58c core to low 50's, and then oc to 4.7 with is my target.

Nice, very clean. +1 on the AMD build. Is the 80mm for cooling your northbridge?

yes, and it does a good job in keeping the socket cooler!
at least 8c less on the socket.
