Aura Creator does not recognize my laptop after the Armoury Crate 6.1.13.0 update.

After a clean installation of version 6.1.13.0, everything works fine, but Aura Creator does not recognize the laptop as a device. The strange thing is that it correctly detects the ROG Gladius 2 mouse, but not the laptop. Can anyone help?

I have a new ROG Strix G16 (2024) G614 and the same issue.  After contacting support via Chat and by phone, and uninstalling and reinstalling Armoury Crate,  while on the phone, there was an update in Armoury Crate.   My device is now recognized and Aura Sync and Aura Effects are now working.  Not so much for Aura Creator.  Aura Creator now recognizes my laptop as a device, but the keyboard does not show in Aura Creator.  The area where the keyboard should show is grayed with a few small boxes here and there, so Aura Creator is useless.  According to the ASUS FAQ on this, the 2024 version of the G614 is not showing as a compatible device with Aura Creator.  Only the 2023 version is listed.

Same here. I have Rog Strix Scar G733QS (2022) laptop, which was working fine with previous version of Armoury Crate and Aura Creator. I was able to configure every single key, logo, led and mouse (Rog Chackram) separately, but this latest version of Armoury y Aura don't recognize my laptop as a device (only mouse), and I'm unable to configure the individual lights of my laptop. I was trying to find oldest version installation to revert the latest one but with no success.

Aura Creator never worked on my laptop but Aura Sync does.  Yesterday, I installed the latest Windows 11 update which was a security update with features from the previous optional update.  After install, I had no devices listed under Aura Sync.  It was just blank.  So...per Asus support, I uninstalled Armoury Crate via Control Panel and then reinstalled the latest version of Armoury Crate (6.1.13.0) for my laptop from the Asus website.  That worked so I'm back in business with Aura Sync.  Aura Creator still the same.

After the last update, on a ROG GL703GXR from 2020 Aura Sync is not working. I can't set the RGB colours per key anymore, and in Aura Sync, my laptop it isn't showing. I've uninstalled and installed multiple times everything, but it doesn't work.

When I was in a chat with Asus support, the tech only had me uninstall Armoury Crate using the Control Panel in Windows 11.  He didn't have me use the tool so the only thing he had me uninstall was Armoury Crate, none of the other services.   He sent me the Armoury Crate Aura Creator installer v 3.2.11.2_15880_1_3.  And that worked for Aura Sync but not Aura Creator.  I had also found an Armoury Crate Control Interface on the ASUS website for my laptop model which was listed as recommended.  So I installed that.  I think that made a difference for me.

Problem solved, after numerous install/uninstall (trough W11 uninstall option and Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool), finally I was able to make Aura Creator to recognize my laptop + external ASUS mouse, and to configure all lights (mouse, keyboard, Logo, Led) individually.
Steps:
1. Uninstall everything using Armouty Crate Uninstalation Tool
2. Download the file "Armoury Crate Control Interface" (from ASUS page (according to laptop model).
3. Download the original Armoury Crate installation file (from ASUS page (according to laptop model).
4. First install the downloaded file "Armoury Crate Control Interface"
5. Install original AC installation file (option Armory Crate and Aura Creator activated)
6. After installation start Armoury Crate and go to Settings (option Update Center), and let to Update all.
7. Restart Armoury Crate.

8. Start Aura Creator and should shown all your devices (laptop, external ASUS mouse, etc.)

Good for you, Smiki!  My device is still not compatible with Aura Creator based on the FAQ.  Hopefully at some point it will be, but as long as it works with Armoury Crate and Aura Sync I'm content.  Had you installed the Armoury Crate Control Interface previously?

Initialy, when I've acquired the laptop. It came with 2 SSD PCI 1TB drives in RAID (2 TB drive). As I always use 2 drives separately first as a system drive and second as Working drive, was forced to boot into bios and deactivate the RAID, activate AHCI and format the drives and install W11. After installation I've download all drivers and software from ASUS page and installed it (including Armoury Crate Control Interface). That's was in the early 2022, since then I've let all actualizations and upgrades on auto with 0 problems. The problem occurred only with the latest Armoury Crate update 2 weeks ago.
