z97 Sonic Studio problem

Hi, I have a kind of annoying problem. When I change my microphone settings on sonic studio, like volume stabilizer, noise gate and noise reduction, It goes back to default as soon as I go out of the software. So I have to change It everytime and let It stay up all the time for It to keep the settings.

My mobo: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO, Socket-1150
Running Windows 7-64bit

What I have tried so far:

-Reinstall the driver
-Installing the newest driver
-Reinstalled windows 7-64 bit
-Updated the BIOS

But no luck at all.

I would love to get this fixed, please help me. Sorry for my bad english, hopefully you guys understand what I ment and need help with.

Same for me, those settings never save and it is very frustrating.

Same here, very annoying. I have the make the changes and minimise the app but not close. If I close it, it reverts back and that damn volume stabilisation is so so bad, it's just doesn't work properly. I need it off and I want it to stay off!

P.S - VII Ranger

Edit: added mobo

SOLVED: For VII Ranger users anyway

Update your BIOS to "MAXIMUS VII RANGER BIOS 1104" and hey presto! It's keeps the settings 🙂

Are you sure it's fixed? Didn't seem to fix the problem on my end. Sonic Studio settings for the microphone are still resetting.

Yup working fine for me after the BIOS update...so nice to have that damn volume correction thing off 🙂

Not sure what else to suggest that's not been already bud, you're using the latest drivers I assume? if not I am so maybe that's your problem? I recently bought this mobo and have used all the latest drivers from ASUS not the one's that came with the CD, worth a punt anyway.

Tried updating all my drivers from the website. Still the same problem. I was wondering if I had the same problem as you. Because if I disable Sonic Studio for the microphone altogether, Sonic Studio stays off. But if I want Sonic Studio on but with Volume Stabiliser off and Noise Reduction on max, then it starts doing the resetting thing each time the microphone is used or the driver is reopened. Is this the case on your end? Or is everything saving as expected?
