I SPECIFICALLY bought this very inexpensive little Dell SFF PC SOLELY to access and play SiriusXM audio over our distributed home audio system (replaces an ancient iMac which 'forced' all audio thru SPDIF ), and then added this inexpensive Xonar SE card to provide optical SPDIF into my also very ancient Denon amp (which CAN accommodate 5.1/7.1 but all I really need is simple stereo, at this point). But every time good ole Windows 11 does one of the inexorable updates and 'reboots', the output defaults back to speaker outputs, and I cannot find any means to change this to 'default' to SPDIF. every time..
IS there any way to make this happen or do I need to find a different low-profile audio card?
BTW: I suppose Win11 is OK (I guess) but still working my way through these little 'pitfalls' after using Win10 for the past decade.
