Windows 7 to 10 upgrade -part Installs... Black screen with movable white pointer

Afternoon all,
I have the following PC setup...

Intel i7 5960x processor
ASUS Rampage V Extreme motherboard
64GB Kingston Hyper Hyper X 3000MHz (2x32GB kits (2x(4x8GB))
Pioneer BDR-209EBK 128GB Blueray writer
2x EVGA nVidia Titan X 12GB SC video cards in SLi
2 Samsong 850 Pro SSD in Raid 1
G.Skill Blade 480GB PCIe SSD
Aquacomputer Aquaero 6XT Watercooling controller, pumps, full motherboard, CPU and GPU waterblocks
Internal USB hub

When I try update from Windows 7SP1 to Windows 10, I get to the second phase of the % installed (sit back and feel bored) circle screen. Then the screen goes black and I have only a pointer arrow which I can move about but the computer stays like this and displays nothing else.

I have tried to pretend the windows it at logon (password switched off) and pressed enter... nothing happens.

When I power the computer off a few times I am returned to Windows 7 and told there was an installation error!

Windows 7 works fine but I don't want to keep Windows 7 as this was only installed for the free upgrade!

Anyone have any ideas please?

Did you updated all your drivers on win 7 before doing windows 10 upgrade?

Because, my first time that i tried to install windows 10 i get stucked at 75% for more than 8 hours so i decided to turn the computer off. A week later i decided to give it another chance, and I am on my 4th day of running win 10 now.
I did not what went wrong the first time, but the only thing that i did, was to install 355.60 nvidia driver on win 7 and run the upgrade to win 10

Right now the nvidia driver that windows 10 installed by default was the previous one, 353.62 and I cant install the driver 355.60 But i am running win 10

Could be your SLI configuration. Dont know, let's wait what other people have to say about your case.

Yes you should be fully updated, Also we are finding out that if we download the install media for 10 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and run the setup.exe from with in windows. For most people is solves the issue of not completing the upgrade.
