Two questions about GPU Tweak

If anything is important to know feel free to ask.
Im using a GTX 1080 Strix OC

1. Is there a way to reset the OC presets (OC, Gaming and silent) pressing default is definitvly NOT working, as i remember the GPU speed percentages. Those stick to 109% in every mode (was supposed to be 111,109,107 if i remember correct). Or where can i find the default setting to set it to default manually.

2. (Easy one i guess) Why is it not possible to choose fan speed between 1 - 29%? 30 is usually to much to start with and starts to make noise. 10% or something like that would be great to start with noise and temperature wise. Its really strange to allow 0% and start it with 30% whenever it becomes hot but not allowing low speeds all the time O.o

1. What do you mean by reset the OC presets? The presets cannot be modified by the user as far as I know.

2. Unfortunately, that's a hardware limitation with the fans.

1. I can uncheck the lock in front of it and change what i want. (guess i did that sometimes without noticing it, thats why i want to bring it back to default)

2. Hardware? The fans cant make 20% speed? No way. Also... if using the 0db mode they partially use lower speed than 30 if i keep track of the graphs right. But they use like a on off pattern...

1. Yes, you can but it doesn't save over the default preset. You can test it out for yourself. For example, select the OC preset and change what you want. Then go and switch to the Gaming preset. If you switch back to the OC preset, you'll notice that it's still using the values programmed by ASUS.

If you try to save any changes over the preset, the program will prompt you to save as a new preset. 🙂

2. They don't actually function at a lower speed. They stay off until GPU temperature hits 55.38C. Once the temperature is over that mark, the fans spin at 40%. If you look at the default fan curve, you'll notice the vertical line.

1. Than why does the GPU cpeed in the Home screen shows me 109% in whatever OC mode im in? As i said it definitly was changing between 107,109 and 111... Now its fixed to 109%.

2. I understand how the 0db mode works. I would really like to put them on a 10-20 % speed all the time. #featurerequest
