Sonic Studio will randomly disable sound output when booting into Windows. Windows, or any other app for that matter, will still play sounds like nothing is the matter, yet no sound is coming through my headphones! It's like the jack is broken, but it's not! After I uninstalled Sonic Studio, sound is working. Every time. However now I cant take advantage of the onboard amplifier, so the sound is really low like a run of the mill cheap onboard dac (yes yes I know). Sigh. B450-F board if anyone was wondering.
