Sonic studio 3 not changing sound.

I'm experiencing issues with the studio 3 software. This usually happens after a windows 10 security update. The Sonic Sound effects quit working requiring me to reinstall the software. However, in this instance when I change the bass, treble or voice clarity, nothing changes in the output. What odd though is the Equilizer does effect the sound. This is the file I'm installing the studio with.  If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. TIA

Just an update.  I'm on to something. It seems that when sonic studios installs, it creates a link with Microsoft Edge browser that allows any audio to go through Sonic studio 3 effects. For some reason, when you change tabs or close Edge the link breaks and sound then bypasses Sonic Sound Effects panel. Can anyone help.
