ROG Throne Qi and Armour Crate

I can't get my throne qi to update to version 0027 5/19/2020. It gets almost all the way done and just stops, the error code is 18. I found a thread that says to power cycle and it updates which does work but doesn't actually update. A bit later the update comes back again. I have tried everything, is anyone else having this problem or should I RMA the throne? It messes up my RGB and stops my pc from going to sleep.

I just got a chakram and I have to unplug the dongle after a while to get the rgb to work. I think it is all related to the throne error

Every couple of days I get a new frimware for my ROG Throne Allways same version 0027 seems a pretty common fault

Can confirm this. Really sucks.

I thought I had managed it by updating the firmware via my Strix Scar G731. But having it plugged in into my main system, three days later reverted back to. ver0027.
