ROG Strix G713PV_G713PV Asus Component Firmware Update issue

Hello,

This driver stopped working after something applied config file oem91.inf on 1/14/2024. The log shows oem10.inf had worked prior to oem91.inf being applied but now it does not work. I think something went wrong during the configuration and windows rolled back the driver automatically. I'm not sure what updated this driver and have not experienced any noticeable issues since it stopped working. I only noticed a few days ago when I went looking in the device manager an exclamation displays in "Asus Component Firmware Update".

Here is what I've done to troubleshoot so far:
I downloaded the latest updates and optional updates from the MyASUS app and Windows Update.
I downloaded the latest version of all the optional drivers for my system from the ASUS support website.

I have the same issue on a G834JY (firmware 324). That "device" is listed with the warning sign since one of the windows updates (Windows11Pro).

Actually I found nothing specific to my laptop in the forums but an older entry for another one:

Not sure if that is the best way to go to solve it. I would feel more comfortable knowning what that driver is meant to do..

No, not yet.
At the moment it does not bother me as all seems to work...
