Within Rog Armoury II, when using Sync mode in case you have multiple devices (in my case a Pugio mouse and a Scope keyboard), it would be great if the keyboard function keys used to adjust the keyboard light brightness (Fn+down / Fn+up) could also adjust the mouse light brightness at the same time.

RGB fans and strip from Deep cool (running from RGB header on MB) says compatible with Arus Sync.
Deep Cool Captain AIO says AURUS on box and plugged into RGB header.

Brand new build and super excited (only my second build). Specifically bought Aura stuff for Aura synciong the RGB. After installing windows and firing up for first time, Armoury Crate auto downloaded and worked perfectly. I had full control of all the devices listed above.

I spent some time udpating and downloading apps and what not as it was a new build. Afterwhich, I powered down the PC for the night. When I turned it back on the next day the RGB was all out of sync. I opened Armoury Crate and it was slow and when I selected the motherboard, the ram or the rgb header controlled devices (fans and AIO) it would not apply the changes to them.

This prompts me to restart. Now only Gskill ram is lighting up. Cannot get MB or RGB header devices to light up at all. I want to note that I do not have any other RGB software installed.

Long story short, I uninstalled Armoury Crate and reinstalled a million times with no improvement. I downloaded Revo Uninstaller and Ccleaner and followed many guides. Still nothing.

I tried intalling Aura Sync a million times and nothing. Says Aura Sync stopped working and won't open at all.

I checked Aura in BIOS and turned both to always on (on when active and on when alseep). Still nothing.

Then I did a fresh install of windows. Lights are back on but stuck in breathe mode. Install Aura sync and won't open. Fully uninstall and try Armoury Crate. Armoury Crate installs and opens but won't show Aura section at all. I power down and start back up and all light but RAM stop working. That's where I'm at now. Been 4 days of this.

Got to say, I'm pretty disheartened by all of this. my first experience with Asus and it has been a nightmare. Weirdest part is that it worked for a while and then just stopped.

From within the app in the About requester or similar (can't remember) there's a check new updates... It automatically updated .37 to .38.
EDIT:
Click on the upper right wrench icon (Settings) and then press the button "LIVE UPDATE"

Maximus XI Extreme

When I turn off hardware (GPU for example) RGB, it throws code 00

System hog, using 15%. II must turn off when benchmarking however, using Userbenchmark.com, GPU fails test. Removing Armoury, it passes. Can we run Aura/Armoury with out being a hog!

I have a laptop Asus G731GW and aura in armoury not working because if I install the live service for aura and the crash system in BSOD while if doesn’t install the live service aura not working not getting any device to sync.

Hi ROG,

I bought ROG Gladius II and i did install ROG Armoury II. There's a bug on Armoury II whenever i set lighting effect as a wave and set it at a slow or medium speed, it did save unfortunately it only be able to save it at fast speed.

But it works fine with my ROG Strix Scope Deluxe which is i can set wave speed however i want.

Can you help me out since it's already a month i can't figure it out.

I'm having serious issues with the mouse and dock needing repairing, - it looks like it is whenever the mouse goes to sleep, the light on the doc goes off and the mouse needs repairing.

Unplugging and re plugging in the dock makes no difference, the fix process is to press the pairing light on the dock, then cycle the power on the mouse. (note pressing the dock pairing button then the mouse pairing button does not work)


This is a real issue for me as I work from home, and every time I leave the mouse for a minute or so, I need to re-pair. I suppose I could bump up the "sleep" time (not checked if this fixes yet, just speculation) but as it is the battery barely lasts a day anyway. (how long should it last? I know there was a firmware issue before that drained it totally, maybe that's shortened its life).

Whilst typing this, the mouse has shut down again and needs re-pairing!

Still means I can't use my wireless mouse, in wireless mode!
