Realtek USB drivers issue.

Why is it when I install certain versions of the Realtek USB drivers I lose the loudness equalization option in the Realtek Audio Console? As an example I am currently on a slightly older version of the USB audio drivers (V6.3.9600.2389) which has the option. Realtek USB Audio Driver version 6.3.9600.2414 WHQL Asus, located on the ASUS site, results in losing the option. I've had this sort of thing happen with other versions. Some are fine, some are not. There is a newer version, Realtek USB Audio Driver version 6.3.9600.2414 WHQL Asus, floating around which also loses the option.

Can anyone shed some light into why I lose this option depending on the version I use? More importantly, is there a 'trick' to get it back other than using a version that works properly. I like to keep up with the latest versions of my motherboard software.
