Hello everyone - I'm new to this particular forum.
I have just finished a new build using the Asus Prime H270m mobo running Kaby Lake i5 CPU with 16 gigs of RAM. I really like the Asus motherboard the only real issue I have run into is Bios UI. The wireless mouse isn't very responsive though the keyboard works though it's difficult to navigate if you're not sure which keys to press.
The real problem arises when using the Ez fan control wizard for the fans. The wizard does a great job of setting of optimising the speeds etc. but it all goes wrong when trying to come out of that screen. As soon as you click OK with the mouse or press enter on the keyboard it freezes solid - both keyboard and mouse. The only way I have found to exit at this point is to press the computer reset button but by doing so none of the changes you have made are saved.
After over a dozen attempts I finally had success in saving the settings and exiting the BIOS. I note from reading other reviews online that other people have found this a real issue. In fact I have found posts going back as far as 2012, so not encouraging that Asus don't appear able to solve this problem.
