Problem with AI Suite 3 and Nvidia Drivers

I'm running a EVGA Geforce GTX 980 Ti on a Maximus VII Hero/ACU with 16GB ram.
After installing Nvidia driver 373.06 the problem started. After a reboot the display performance started having problems, like drop down menus would not immediately fill in for long periods of time. Reinstalling the video driver would fix the problem until the next reboot. Installing subsequent video driver updates, 375.57, 375.63, 375.70, didn't fix the problem.
After much troubleshooting I found that uninstalling AI Suite 3 fixed the problem.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this behavior and knows of a fix or cause, or has communicated with ASUS about it? It's not a big deal not having AI Suite 3 running, just makes OCing less convenient.

Thanks for any input.

There's multiple topics about the suite not working all over the forums. Started for me after installing my Asus strix 1080. So far no working solution or a suite update

I heard back from ASUS support. They recommended clearing the CMOS. I did and it didnt change anything. AI Suite 3 still steps on the video driver.

clearing the CMOS has no impact on dll errors trying to install lol. If there was a bios issue the system wouldn't boot at all. That said Bahz said in another topic they're working on a new build that should fix all/some of the issues.
