Problem: AI Suite and DIP try to start at login of non-Admin user

I have multiple user accounts on my Computer (Windows 7), one of them is a standard (non-admin) account.

After installing the AI Suite III, after logging on the the limited user, the system always opens two notifications which prompt for administrator permission to start programs (these two relate to AISuite and DipAwayMode entries in the task list). Obviously the limited user should not have an admin password and still has to cancel the two program starts every time he logs in.

I know how to disable the auto-start of the AI Suite via scheduled tasks (and have done that), but it required googling and fiddling.

The desired solution obviously would be not to try to start these for limited users (they should not fiddle with the settings anyway), but at least the suite should have a simple option to disable auto-start at login.

Blueflash, did you find the solution for this problem?

I had the same problem with AIsuite 3 and a non-admin user, but I found a solution in Windows 7.
In the task Scheduler, I changed at "When running the task, use the following user account:" from USERS to my user account name.
Now Aisuite 3 starts only when I login and the non-admin user doesn't get the error messages anymore.

Hope this helps.

Thanks this worked for my Asus Rampage mobo 😄
Was driving me crazy since I recently switched to standard account from admin for better security and didn't even think to check task scheduler.
Also helped me see some other tasks I didn't need to be running so I disabled them too!
