Power Plan/Wake from sleep login

Hello, I am new to the forum.
I have a rather general question at this point. The issue with Asus Suite III forcing a Windows 10 system into the "Balanced" power plan after a restart is known. I installed the patch to correct this issue, but a new one cropped up as a result. My system now stays in "High performance" upon a restart but now requires a login when coming out of sleep mode. This change was not my doing. This is a desktop in a secure location, and a login coming out of sleep is not needed. Here is the bug -- all means to reset the power settings to remove the login requirement are gone! I am using Windows 10 Home, so there is no group policy settings panel. The Windows 10 settings "Sign in Options" now has a red notification that directs me to "Power and Sleep." After drilling down to the normal location for "change settings that are currently unavailable" the option to require a wake from sleep login or not is not available. I know the patch is responsible for this bug because if I select the "balanced" power plan and restart all the normal options are once again available -- select the "high performance" power plan and restart and once again the forced requirement to login when resuming from sleep issue is present.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the power plan patch issued for Asus Suite III, and if so, have you found a fix or work around?? I currently leave the system in the "balanced" plan and set all of the advanced settings to match those I use in the "high performance" plan. It works, but I'd like to resolve the patch problem if possible. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
