I'm using BIOS 1701 on ASUS Rampage V Intel 5960x. When I restart the PC the screen goes black and the PC stays on but nothing happens.
I don't understand why this is happening. Is their a BIOS setting I need to set to have this done. It seems the PC doesn't understand the restart command or isn't getting it
I've installed the motherboard disc and updated the drivers from the website. Still no solution.
Here is my PC build:
Asus Rampage V
Intel 5960x
Windows 10 Pro
1 TB x2 SSD in Raid 1
1 TB SATA
Water cooled
Installed motherboard disc and all updated drivers from the website

I Am Also Having This Exact Same Problem! Happens When Restarting Or Shutting Down.
I Am About Ready To Send This Motherboard Back To NewEgg And Buy A Different Brand.

I wonder what is causing this issue. This happens after updating to BIOS 1701. I hope someone can see this and be able to help us out.

If any of you have the Intel RST software installed, try uninstalling it to see if it solves the issue.

When did this start happening? Have you downloaded anything recently? I have had this problem once but resolved it with a soft reset... I turned off
the power strip and then turned it back on and then it worked fine.
