Hi,
I'm a total newbie and this is my first build. The computer has been running okay for about 3 weeks. Everything is stock at the moment with no tweaks or overclocking. I have been running 2 games, Rise of Flight and Napoleon Total War ( both in Drive D) with no dramas until a week ago I was playing Total War and the computer logged itself off back to the sign in page. Whenever I try to start either game from the Desktop icons the same thing happens and I end up signing back in.
The other icons, Desktop and Internet work fine.
The problem happens whether the computer has been running for 2 mins or 2 hours so don't think overheating is a problem. The CPU runs at 24C and the MB at 28C.
I've updated all the drivers to everything I can think of.
I've reloaded the games individually to both C and D drives with the same result.
I ran a MemTest86 which said there were no errors, tried running with 1, 2 or 4 mem sticks in different configurations, ran the Windows Memory test, again no probs.
Also tried several refreshes and resets as there was nothing of value on the computer but still no luck.
My limited knowledge is just about up so any help is much appreciated.
