OC-panel firmware update

Hey peeps!
My first ever post on the forum, hopefully the last aswell(regarding me having problems at least).

So i sold out my behemoth of a x79 system and went for a more budget-oriented build.

CPU: Intel G3258 @4.5GHz atm
MOBO: Maximus VII Ranger(Might aswell get ready for Broadwell, right?)
SSD: Kingston V300
RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB 1600MHz (regret i didn't spend a little more on faster RAM though)
GPU: ASUS 750 TI Strix (living room pc, went for silent)
PSU: Corsair CX430M

My problem now is that im getting alot of crashes due to some ASUS software not beeing loaded correctly, accordingly to the event viewer at least?

I've also got an ASUS OC-panel from work that i hooked up to this bad boy BUT whenever i try to regulate the vcore on the panel, it just skips right over it and therefor i can't regulate it on my oc-panel. i'd like to do that obviously
Whenever i try to update the firmware on the OC-panel, following the guide in here, the programs just says that the usb cannot be found? 😕

Anyway, i hope some of ya'll genies have some cool ideas
Thanks in advance
