no White in Aura??? Seriously?

you can select white on the website as part of the add for selling the MB's.. but it's not possible in the actual software. Come on ASUS.. this is pretty poor.
'personally.. looks like false advertising to me.

what Asus "says" Aura does...

It's the poor programming of the software. same version for each mb at this point.

I know this thread is rather old but I was racking my head trying to figure this out as well. Like OP our software looked identical and I could not get my RGBs to white either. Finally i figured it out. You have to slide the saturation slider all the way down.

Figured I'd post the info here in case anyone was wanting to accomplish the same.

Awesome, works perfectly. Thank you!

I have just tested this on my pc and it works. The user interface is not accurate but once you set the r255, g255, b255 and apply it will make the correct change to the motherboard, ram and fans. I've used both static and breathing.

white is working OK - just need to set manual 255/255/255

BUT WHY THEY CANT ADD THAT SQUARE BOX SAME AS THIER FALSE ADS! :eek:

Or just a good colour picker.

Sorry for resurrecting old thread, but I cannot find anything else related to this on the internet.

So I have X570 Strix-E and cannot set it to white colour not matter what I try. To start with I am not big fan of whole RGB scene and pride colours all over my PC, but as it seem that is the only way to get premium PC components nowadays my plan was to simply set it to least offensive colour - white. + my AIO is non RGB white and I even have some white fans laying around... sadly it seems there is no way to achieve this.

As far as I understand the issue still exists with Aura - still cannot set colour as simply white (and I am starting to suspect this is for a reason). Even when I set it manually the area with ROG sign and STRIX logo to R255 B255 G255 it produces faint blue light which stands out quite a bit from other parts, even to other LEDs on the same motherboard.

I am starting to suspect that Asus doesn't give white as an option because they know RGB LEDs they use don't have accurate enough colour to produce any sort of acceptable white. I was aware that RGBs sometimes have little bit of pinkish hue due to it being combination of colours used to create it and not actual white like in RGBWs. This is certainly true when it comes to my Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM - they produce very bright white with pinkish hue, I can see it when tinted side panel is off, but it is so subtle that with side panel on I cannot tell them apart.

On the other hand Asus motherboard produces outright blue colour which stands out badly. Is there any other solution apart of returning the part or even RMA? Secondly - I am just wondering if this is by design or if I have some faulty LEDs or bad controller e.g. if I ask for replacement what are the chances that replacement board would be the same?
