New Tweak version 1.2.9.1

Improve compatibility.

Wil install it now.

GPU voltage and speed are working with this version so thats fixed again.

Icons not show up in the system tray is not fixed.

This happens with every boot.

Icons not show up in the system tray is not fixed , UPDATE Icons appear after few restarts or shutdowns , then the icons act as they should
No More Freezes on a Restart or Shutdown,
Bahz our Forum Administrator Asus HQ Taiwan, R.O.C., Said they are working on a New Asus GPU Tweak with an improved UI {Tweak Version lll lets say, but it maybe awhile.} What really gets me , Tweak ll is Asus's Own Software for their Own Graphic Cards and it does not work on Asus Cards. Really disappointing , When I spent $1049 cnd for their Gold20th card 2 cards in fact at a cost of 2058 + Tax

When the icons do startup in the system tray i see 2 bars comming in the right lower corner saying that tweak and monitor are running this is so annoying also with that sound.

Why not just start the 2 programs without the bars and sound. its so annoying.

OK...

Still the same as v1.2.7.5 & v1.2.8.2 which is just looking working fine, but again for this version 1.2.9.1 i have the ASGT.exe error ( Appcrash) in the path ."C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ASGT.exe".

No problems for my settings and system tray for me here...just that ASGT.exe.

I looked on the internet for ASGT.exe and found that it isnt GPU Tweak that has a problem.

Asgt.exe problems can be attributed to corrupt or missing files, invalid registry entries associated with Asgt.exe, or a virus / malware infection.

More specifically, these asgt.exe errors can be caused by:

Corrupt Windows registry keys associated with asgt.exe / Third-Party Application.
Virus or malware infection that has corrupted the asgt.exe file or related Third-Party Application program files.
Another program maliciously or mistakenly deleted asgt.exe-related files.
Another program is in conflict with Third-Party Application and its shared referenced files.
Corrupt download or incomplete installation of Third-Party Application software.

Thanks, I was aware of that link already....

I managed to solve my problems by Copy/Paste an older version of the ASGT.exe (taken from restore point) without uninstall version 1.2.9.1.

I've rename the last version to .OLD then Copied the saved file to the desired path (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ASGT.exe).

At reboot no crash anymore of that ASGT.exe.



That's mean that this GPU Tweak II version 1.2.9.1 is working fine on my machine, now. When i apply "OC Mode" or "Silent Mode" it does gives me the desired values as it should as is "Gaming Mode" too.



I'll report if i find another issue.

Well the ASGT.exe error is interesting, I did not get that error but I had to install version 1.2.9.1 twice to get the tweak program to initialize , I had to reinstall the software twice without uninstalling the first install my guess is missing install files on first install attempt

If you read on the internet u see that only AMD cards have the ASGT.exe error.

U will never get this error with a nvidia card.

When i open up task manager tab service i see that the ASGT service has stopped.

Still when changing to OC profile the temperature target isn't changing to 91° it remains at 83° have to use the slider to adjust, since the arrows will not change it when apply button is used. And the second issue that remains is that the second card doesn't change its memory clock when applied on gpu 1 a profile the second card changes everything except that. Have to apply it after I swap to gpu 2 to take effect.
