New Nvidia drivers makes iCue not recognize anymore ASUS Motherboard and GPU (or not?

Hi all,

I’ve installed the last release of Nvidia drivers and I believe that makes iCue not recognize anymore my ASUS motherboard and the GPU; moreover now in the dashboard, it is saying Nvidia RTX 3090 and not ASUS Rog Strix 3090. I’ve tried a clean reinstall of Armory Crate (total rubbish) and iCue but still; the only thing left is to rollback the Nvidia drivers (I would like to don’t do that).

Any suggestions?

iCue ver. 4.24.193

Nividia ver. 516.40

CRAP Armoury crate ver 5.1.4.1 (should be the last ver.)

Looks like there is a temp work around. After icue launches at start up, right click on quit on the task bar, then right click on icue on your desktop short cut or where ever you have it and run as admin. it is working for me now. Now wondering if I can just run it as admin at start up.

OMG thx for this tips.
I was desperately waiting for an update either from Corsair, nVidia or Asus.
The latest from Corsair not having fixed this bug I did some research and came across this post.

Yes it does... however, only problem is plugins don't seem to work for this fix - so lighting does not sync with wallpaper engine 😞

If anyone has a fix for that it would be appreciated.

Have now tried following versions of software and issue still there:
Nvidia Drivers - 517.48
Armouy Crate - 5.3.4.0
iCUE - 4.28.177

My iCue software no longer starts with the system as it did before. I have to start it manually.
Do you have the same? How did you fix it?
Thx 🙂

Edit : Ok i read in other post "making icue run as admin from default startup", i try this 😉

Edit 2 : It still doesn't work, I was forced to do a scheduled task...
