Hello,

I"m in dire need of some help i think i solved it but this can't be right. I own a Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha and an STRIX RX480 O8G. The motherboard utlities download for Aura software is 1.01.16 from last year. And my Grapic card version is 0.0.5.4. They both use the Aura RGB logo not the SYNC logo does that mean that i can't sync them up with my orderd Vengance memory? The graphic card is listed one the sync page but also when i try to use the latest version AURA version it will not even start up. Like i said i think i solved it it wil not work can someone confirm that my hardware is out of date for AURA SYNC.

The Maximus VIII motherboards do not support the Aura sync technology, you would need a Maximus IX motherboard for Aura sync.

Ahhh that clear it all up THX. The graphic card can sync with my upcoming memory then? Or is the motherboard the basic platform to use it all, so no motherboard no Sync for supported products?

That's correct, you need a motherboard that supports the Aura sync technology.
