MyAsus App doesn't work after update to Win 24H2: Reboot required. System Control Interface Driver

Hello everyone,

I can't say with 100% certainty that the MyASUS app stopped working right after I updated to Windows 11 24H2, but that's when I first noticed the issue.

The last time I used the MyASUS app was a couple of months ago, and everything was working fine. Yesterday, after updating to Windows 11 24H2, I opened the app again and saw the following notification: "Some functions cannot be used. Please restart this application or the computer."

I restarted both the app and the computer, but the issue persisted.

Next, I went to my ASUS ROG Zephyrus GA402XZ support/download page and downloaded the latest version of the ASUS System Control Interface Driver (V3.1.37.0). I checked Device Manager to confirm the presence of the ASUS System Control Interface, and it showed version 3.1.36 of the driver.

I proceeded to install the new ASUS System Control Interface Driver (V3.1.37.0) and rebooted my computer. However, when I checked Device Manager again, the driver was still listed as version 3.1.36.

I then ran the installer for the ASUS System Control Interface Driver (V3.1.37.0) again, but this time, I extracted the files into a folder and manually updated the driver in Device Manager. I was able to upgrade the driver to version 3.1.37, but even after rebooting, the MyASUS app still shows the same error message, and I'm unable to perform system updates or access certain features.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Additionally, I noticed that the Anime Matrix in the Armory Crate software is also no longer working.

Since I couldn't find a fix for my issue, I decided to do a fresh installation of Windows 11 (24H2). Now, everything is working perfectly.
