Installing windows 8.1 to my new ssd

hi im completley new here!

iv got a asus rog G750js and iv just bought a ssd disk i wanna put my windows 8.1 in. seems like the windows is built into the original harddrive, so when i try to reinstall my windows i dont get the options to chose wich harddrive to put my windows on. Anyone know what to do get windows over to my ssd ?

If you haven't figured it out yet, I did it myself… Had to go through a bunch of steps in order to get it done, but… It is possible.

I'll be hanging out here in the forums for a while, I'll keep an eye out for your response if you want help on this.

I've got to find out about installing virtual machine software on my 8.1, then installing a Linux distro on top of that virtual machine.
So, I'll be around for a while.
