How do you use this SupremeFX/SonicStage GUI...

Hello

I owned a Maximus IV Extreme-Z before which had realtek hd audio and i loved it, everything was simple to understand and i could fix any setup issues i had because the naming of options made sense to me

I've done a completely new build using a Maximus VII Hero which has the 'SupremeFX' thing which i understand is realtek underneath..however the GUI to this all is completely different and i have no idea what i am doing with it

I am using the same headset as before - Asus Vulcan

My issue is that the mic sounds pretty poor and my buddy can hear all of my game sounds playing through the headset into my ears, back through the microphone to himself which is pretty annoying. I used to have this problem on the Extreme-Z board too which i was able to fix through the realtek GUI, i took screenshots of that config so i could just replicate it on future setups but on the Hero it's named differently e.g. Volume Stabilizer, Noise Gate, Noise Reduction..

Can anyone provide any insight into what these settings do and how i can resolve my issue?

Thanks

You shouldn't need microphone boost at all.

Your correct, i shouldn't need the boost at all and i didn't need it before when i wasn't forced to use this piece of **** SupremeFX interface. I might as well return the board for something else if an Asus employee can't even tell me how to use it!
