A new version of GPUTweakII Version 1.5.9.1

Fix bug: User account setting message shows every time when Windows start. (Win 10 RS3)

TESTING..........

Report any anomalies and issues here. Also please also write downs the good news.

Please check your GPU HelpDesk Download website to get the correct one. (just in case)

This error happened after the install of the latest 'emergency update' from MS. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, does not help.

Also caused from this update is AISuite no longer works.

for people that getting Error 1608: unable to create InstallDriver instance, return code -2147221021 i had the same error took me hours to find what to do
go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\9\Intel 32 run idriver.exe and idriver2.exe and try install or uninstall gpu tweak 2 again i had the same problem like some of you plz fix this or i will use another program too

about the fan error you cant do anything just press x and wait for patch

Same happening to me too, gpu tweak preventing shutdown of Windows. Windows 10 pro. I uninstalled the previous version and cleaned registry too.

Hi, this is what i have with this release (don't have with 1.5.8.1)
- Security windows open box to start the program everytime i start my PC
- Not minimized at start

Are you running 1.5.9.1 correct. in my case what i did was select normal operation, game mode. Close the app. uninstall from windows. restart. delete the software folder. restart, clean the cache from the hard drive, restart, clean the trash, then i install the app. so far is doing ok. I try to replicate the issues but no luck. BTW i am was running all new drivers on those days. today we new so i am testing again. but these time i am not making a clean install i have only one pc for all. so give me time to try.:rolleyes::cool:

mmm. tell more about your system and bios please. I read something on another forums. But just in case.

1. download CCleanner and the driver again from the Asus website. Since i regist my asus products. in there you will find all the drivers.
2. as far is my undestanding these app is self sustain so no other new drivers are needed.
3. take the program and select gaming mode. close it (exit the app)
4. disconnect form internet
5. unistall from windows (if ask to delete all presents. Select YES!
6. restart
7. go to C, program files x86, asus, delete GPUTweakII
8. clean trash
9. clean temps files and cache
10. restart so it builds the new info.
11. run ONLY ccleaner on the area of system files. and JUST delete the one that said something with gputweakII
install the app. and TEST again.

If these does not work I need to check something else. since my computer has being a test bench since a year now. i can not retest some files I have stable system now. . sorry if these is as far can do alt least to replicate the issue.

Hi, I installed version 1591 and I still have the issue where I have the UAC prompt for GPU Tweak and Monitor upon startup and neither start minimized.

When I check the GPU Tweak version in the info tab it says version 1.5.5.3 even though I installed version 1591 and if I use the 1591 installer again it asks me if I want to remove GPU Tweak, so it looks like it is installed correctly!

The Strange thing now it's i have clean with ccleaner etc and test again 1.5..8.1 before test the last 1.5.9.1, now i have the message box at start windows to run (security) and don't minimize too in 1.5.8.1 like 1.5.9.1

For me it doesn't matter what version i install, i always get this installshield message:

Error 1608: unable to create InstallDriver instance, return code -2147221021

I tried everything there is to find on the web about this, but none have succeeded. I'm running Windows 10 Pro x64 with Asus Strix x99 and ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING gpu.

Anyone here knows how to fix this? Also i find that other Asus software is very unstable, Ai Suite 3 and Aura are all not functioning as it should in my opinion. 😞
