GPU tweak wont open

I tried to uninstall GPU tweak to try and change versions after I restarted all I get is "member not found" this sucks probably going to return my 280x if ASUS support can't help me come tomorrow.

i get the same thing. I upgraded 5.9.2 or something like that to 6.0. The new version immediately gave that error after the restart. I uninstalled it and restarted. After the restart i ran the install from the 5.9 and now getting that error on that version as well.


On a side note i went to the install folder and manually ran the monitor and it worked.

the only way i was able to fix was a system restore. the only other suggestion if you dont have SR running is running an install tracking program and see what it modifies that does not get deleted.

try using revo uninstaller to remove gputweak then install new one

What an incredible ##$%@#. I have an absolutely clean install of Windows 7 which i wanted to set up for just overclocking. Thus not one single other program. I have disabled any kind of logins and I am thus the full administrator. I install GPU tweak from the DVD that came with the GTX780 Ti. with that version, which I can start I can not tweak anything as the software seems to just iognoer whatever I want to do. So I unistall it and then download the latest version on the ASUS website. I installl it and guess what.... I am completely locked out from the software meaning I have no permission to start it. Even worse effectively I can see a lock on the folders it is even in. Meanwhile the same version worked perfectly in Windows 8 which ofcourse then can not bne used for official results for 90% of any overclocking results on HWBOT....

Edit: Skellattarr you are quite correct the revo uninstaller will remove GPU tweak so you can install it again in a functioning way.
