GPU Tweak Opens Window on Desktop

So I have being using GPU Tweak for a while now without any issue. After updating to the latest version though now every time I open a program or even switch between HDR on/off GPU Tweak opens a window on my desktop if it is running in the background instead of staying minimized to my task tray like it always has in the past. I can't find any setting that has to do with it though I assume I am missing something simple. This interferes with various programs and would be great if there was a way to stop it from acting this way other than simply not running it.

I have the same issue with my GPU Tweak III, and what an annoying bug. But now I know at least, that I am not the only one facing it 🙄

Honestly I would assume they are aware and that it will be fixed in upcoming versions. I sure hope anyway.

I tried doing the bug report on this page (https://www.asus.com/campaign/GPU-Tweak-III/us/index.php), but it errored out, so I submitted a support ticket, referenced this forum post, and provided a video showing the issue.

The last update I received was on April 14th and it contained the following

My name is XXXXXXX.. First and foremost, thank you for your patience while we research this issue. We apologize for the delays.

We understand that you are having issues with the GPU tweak, we will coordinate your case to our Technical Support Department and we will forward this additional information so they can further check it.
