GameFirst VI Update Error (6.1.16.2 -> 6.1.28.3) & High CPU Usage - ROG GT15CK (Win 11)

Hi ROG Community,

I'm reaching out for help with GameFirst VI on my ROG GT15CK desktop running Windows 11. I'm encountering two issues:

  1. Update Error: I'm unable to update GameFirst VI to the latest version (6.1.28.3). When I try to update through the application, I receive an error message about failing to extract the installer.
  2. High CPU Usage: I've noticed high CPU usage (around 30%) from GameFirst VI, especially after using my PC for several hours. This also coincides with the application becoming unresponsive.

To troubleshoot, I've already tried:

  • Reinstalling Windows 11
  • Reinstalling GameFirst VI

Unfortunately, these steps haven't resolved the issues.

Would anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the update error and address the high CPU usage?
