Game First III Problems on Maximus VII Hero

I am just posting this in the forum for anyone that seems to be having problems with their lan port. Having the Game First program running seems to kill network connectivity. This problem has happened on my first motherboard and my replacement and I have finally figured out the problem. I am waiting on Asus for an official response. Also when it is on and my network connection was working it would limit my bandwidth to whatever the settings was for the program (default 10mb/s up and down) because for some reason the speed test was not working for me. I hope this information is useful to anyone with this problem.

These problems were encountered on fresh installations of windows both times, with the lan driver working fine up until installing the rest of the software from the motherboard disk. The program would also cause my computer to lock up.

Confirmed with GameFirst III with Nvidia GeForce Experience, evern though I'm using the VII Formula. Had to uninstall GameFirst III to get GeForce Experience to load/not crash. Definite conflict there.

I tried first to install the Game First version that came with my Maximus Hero board, no network.
Uninstalled Game First and the network connected even without restarting.
Downloaded the latest version from the Asus site about 2 minutes ago and the problem is still there. V1.00.11

I just completed a brand new build and I had noticed immediately upon install of the Gamefirst app that it took a while to connect to lan router - and sometimes not at all without a little re-connect follow up. Unfortunately the app seemed like it would be a very nice compliment to the Asus MB, however from the instant of uninstalling it I had zero connectivity issues and also the connected status was confirmed before the rest of my start up items had finished loading. Glad this thread was started and I wasn't the only one a little skeptical/worried about this.

Updated GF Experince to 2.1.1.0 and the problem remains.

I got VII Hero and when i have gamefirst installed i have a very big drop in mb/sec when copying files from one computer to another. Actually there is a big variation in the copy speed, mb/s hit 90mb/s and suddenly they drop to 5mb/s, and then back to 50mb/s. Also my Elder scroll's online launcher doesnt even start. Had to uninstall the game first utility for the game to launch to as intended.

I also uninstalled everything asus but the AI suit 3 on my VII Hero to avoid conficts with geforce experience and such. Until more stable versions arrive at least.

Hi all, please note we just updated GameFirst III to v1.00.11 - this is already available via ASUS LiveUpdate and will be available via download page within a few days.

v1.00.11 solves incompatibility issue with GeForce Experience and improves overall performance.
