Hello zigsbuddy

I use the precision x overclocking tool, it has onscreen display but doesn't work with all games.

It doesn't work with far cry 4 or battlefield 4.

thanks nate152

I didn't realize you were on a laptop and never tried it on a laptop. if you want to try it I would uninstall the overclocking program and give it a try.

You can have it show a lot of information about your gpu as well as framerates that is if it works with laptops.

Here is a screenshot how to do it. Click on it a few times to make it bigger.

thanks again.
After a little research I discovered that steam has a frame rate function. Which is a little easier for someone with my computing abilities.

All right

I have steam too and was not aware of that, thanks for sharing your info.

It works with BF4, but I don't have FarCry 4.

You have to change your beta participation to find it in your in game settings. It makes a nice small in game display in either top corner.
